Similar to the retractable drop arm awning but with no arms on the sides, rather the arm is on the underside of the awning. Retractable fold arm awnings can also come installed with a cassette  which neatly encloses the entire awning, which is both more aesthetically pleasing as well as providing protection from the elements to further the lifespan of the awning.
